Any updates on new Dentists/Clients using Dentacoin?

The numbers of users on our tools (DentaVox, Trusted Reviews, Dentacare) is growing daily. At the moment we have over 60 000 registered users on all three tools plus 4000 dentists. We are in constant communication with dentists, willing to join our network and start accepting DCN as a means of payment. Only during the last seven days, four dental practices joined the Dentacoin network. Those are: Dr. Swapna Raveendranath’s Shine Dental (Silicon Valley’s top dental practice), 24 Hour Emergency Dentist (London, UK), Dr. Peter Santoro (Innsbruck, Austria) and Dentalpro Dental Specialist Centre (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

 

How many Dentists have signed-up to use the Dentacoin platform and how is the response from their side?

Additionally to the 4000 dental practices registered on Trusted Reviews, there are twenty five dental practices in the global Dentacoin partner network (i.e. practices accepting DCN for payments). Those are located in the USA, Australia, the UK, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Pakistan, Fiji, India. We are working closely with our partners in order to improve our communication means and help patients to better understand the benefits from using Dentacoin. One of our first partner clinic – F3T Dental Clinic in London – reported in details the initial results from the first four months after implementing Dentacoin. Those include: drop-out rate decrease, referral rate increase and overall positive impact on the patient journey (see full report).

 

If we ask you for the top 3 priorities for the Dentacoin project for the next one year, what would be those?

Firstly, to further improve our existing tools and develop the next ones (Dentacoin Assurance). Secondly, to expand our partner network on the way to mass real-world adoption. Thirdly, to offer more and better options for buying/selling/storing Dentacoin (DCN).

 

Can you share with us one key/ important decision which has been taken till now?

Probably we can define as a key decision the cancellation of our token sale in Q4 of 2018, as it led to a change in our Roadmap which, otherwise, we have been following strictly. After taking into consideration the feedback we received from our community, we decided not to offer another token sale this year, but rather try to maintain and even improve the market position we have achieved so far.

With Google, Facebook banning Crypto advertisements what’s your strategy to tackle this?

Dentacoin is not just yet another cryptocurrency. It’s a software solution which utilizes the blockchain technology advantages. Our focus in Marketing is to promote the platform so that it can attract more users and dentists to our network and that’s not in a conflict with the above-mentioned restrictions.

 

What would be your advice to new entrepreneurs who are planning to launch an ICO?

Just don’t create your project solely for the purpose of launching an ICO; this idea is devastating. It’s important to collect the funds needed for your project development, but what you deliver afterwards is all that matters. We believe that only projects with serious business plans and real-world applications will succeed beyond the current hype.

 

What are some of the steps taken to ensure transparency of funds usage, business operations with the community?

We keep everyone informed about the progress through weekly blog updates and active communication in Telegram. The transparent communication with our community is essentially important to us since the beginning. It has created an environment of constant feedback and ideas exchange. We are thrilled to have such an active community which not only supports Dentacoin from distance but also contributes to its development and improvement.

 

What’s your biggest challenge ahead?

Our biggest challenge has always been to develop Dentacoin to its full potential so that it can serve the needs of dentistry and achieve the mainstream adoption it aims at. The progress achieved so far makes us optimistic about the future.
